This newly construction resort is
located adjacent to the 350 foot main
pier and the Long Caye community welcome
center on parcels 176, 177, 178 and 179
of Long Caye at Lighthouse Reef.
It overlooks one of the country's
foremost tourist attractions, the famous
Half Moon Caye Natural Monument (less
than three miles east of the island),
which is cared for by the Belize Audubon
Society. It also boasts to be one
of the closest islands to the famous
Blue Hole less than eight miles north of
Long Caye. A documentary on the
Blue Hole was filmed by Jacques Cousteau
and it is one of Belize's top dive
attractions. The importance of the
resort's location is clearly that
visiting Long Caye saves divers and
fishing enthusiasts from having to make
the daily 90+ minute boat ride each way,
to and from either Belize City harbor or
Ambergris Caye when they visit these top
dive sites and fishing grounds of
Belize.
The resort is constructed primarily of
high quality, beautiful Belizean
hardwoods such as Mahogany, Sapodilla
and Buttonwood. Three
well-designed buildings connected by
boardwalks span the four parcels.
These buildings have a total of 240 feet
of Caribbean Sea frontage.
Building 1

Building 1 contains a fully outfitted
commercial kitchen, storage room/office,
retail sales center suitable for the
sale of t-shirts, novelties, diver's
supplies and equipment, as well as
fishing supplies and equipment.
The dining room, which is capable of
accommodating a minimum of 50 guests
inside has hardwood vaulted ceilings and
hardwood floors, buffet station adjacent
to the kitchen and an interior/exterior
bar to serve guests. There are two
exterior decks... the upper deck located
just off the dining room and bar is
capable of seating 20 dining guests...
the lower deck can accommodate 50 dining
guests, as well as 24 bar patrons at the
hardwood bar.

Building 2 is a two story hardwood
structure having nine efficiency
bedrooms and four common bathrooms on
the main level and six deluxe suites,
each having its own private bathroom and
outside verandah on the second floor.

Building 3 contains 12 efficiency
bedrooms and four common
bathrooms plus two maid/storage rooms.
All development on the island is
environmentally friendly. Water
supply is purified by reverse osmosis
equipment and stored in cisterns.
Electricity can be generated by solar
panels with a backup generator, and
waste is collected in composting units.
The resort is capable of accommodating
guests of the resort, as well as island
residents and visitors arriving by boat
that are enjoying daily dives and
fishing trips originating from Belize
City, Ambergris Caye and other points in
Belize.
